As a small not-for-profit, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without the ongoing support of our amazing volunteers. We’ve been lucky to have a range of talented and generous people spend time with us here at The Ethics Centre, and each has contributed something unique to the organisation.

Some have been volunteering with us regularly for years, and they tell us how much they love the satisfaction and sense of purpose that helping a charity organisation adds to their lives. They’ve become a part of the extended Centre family. We also love welcoming new volunteers into our circle.

Whether you’re a high school student, a recent graduate, taking a temporary break from paid work, or looking to change direction in your career, we’d love to hear from you.

Support our IQ2 Debates

Volunteers at our IQ2 debates gain valuable behind-the-scenes experience and a unique insight into event production and management. They help us set up, pre-poll the audience, collect and count votes, and much more.

Bring FODI to life

We couldn’t bring FODI to life without our volunteers. Their support in bumping in and out and making the festival a memorable experience for audiences is invaluable. Plus, they get to see this phenomenal event in action.

Lend your office skills

We’re always on the look out for talented helpers around the office. Over the years we’ve benefited from many dab hands across areas including fundraising, marketing, consulting, production, writing, research and administration.

Teach ethics classes

Primary Ethics is always in need of more volunteer teachers to facilitate ethics classes to more primary school children in NSW. Find out more about becoming a volunteer ethics teacher on the Primary Ethics website.
