Katie Vajda is a creative and strategic partnerships specialist with over 15 years of experience. Collaborative and purpose-led, succeeding through innovative approaches, relationship building and strong project management skills. Katie has worked extensively in partnerships, events and business development capacity across Australia and Hong Kong, having worked predominantly in publishing, cultural, and event-led companies in the region. Recent roles include: Partnerships Manager for the Australian National Maritime Museum, Director of Baker Miller Pink Gallery and Director of The HK Human Rights Arts Prize.
What inspires you about the work that you do?
I love creating climates of possibility for culture and ideas to thrive, and have a passion for human rights and the environment, which combined has afforded me great opportunities in this space. Working in partnerships for the Festival of Dangerous Ideas, at this time, feels more important than ever.
