Class Actions
Collaborating artists Gadigal and Bidgigal Elder Aunty Rhonda Dixon-Grovenor, artist and theatre maker Kaz Therese, and composer and writer James Hazel are together developing a participatory social artistic project, exploring their shared and lived experiences of class via labour, trauma, love and care in an era of radical change.
For over 50 years Aunty Rhonda has been a professional performer and cultural arts educator within the education system for corporate bodies, cultural festivals and other organisations such as remand centres and correctional centres.
Kaz is an interdisciplinary artist and cultural leader in authentically, culturally diverse arts practice, grounded in performance, activism and community building.
James Hazel is a composer, artist, editor and educator who works across score practices, contemporary dance, sound, video, archive, text, language, research and performance.
