Gathering

DATE & TIME

14 NOVEMBER 18

LOCATION

AIA, MELBOURNE

Pace of change, data disconnect, transparency with concealment & moral courage

Melbourne members from the Ethics Alliance gathered to discuss the challenges faced now and into the future.

Gatherings are a critical indicator of the contemporary pulse of business. These invitation only forums are a space to for Alliance leaders to share and seek support from fellow members across ethical issues in real time. Through collective discussion and shared experiences members can identify solutions not only in their own organisation but also the broader community.

The themes that arise within this space are fed into the topics we then dive into within broader alliance member events, creating a ripple effect of shared knowledge around the issues and challenges you are facing right now.

At the November Melbourne gathering key threads included:

  • Balancing 5 generations
  • Name and shame culture
  • Moral courage
  • The human touch with AI
  • Faces behind the tech
  • Reputation management
  • Trusting brands vs open data
  • Trust, legitimacy and the media

and more..
