Trans Theatre Collective are a new collective of Trans and Gender Diverse actors, writers, directors and theatre makers. This residency is the first stage of this newly formed collective coming together to use theatre as an artform to explore the complexity of trans and gender diverse experiences, without having to educate on the basics of transness, or cater to the cis gaze. Over the residency the group will explore Trans and Gender Diverse stories through devised work, readings and developments all while retaining ownership over how their stories are told.
