The Ethics Centre is committed to building a better understanding of ethics in the business community. We provide consulting, education, leadership and counselling services to help organisations reflect on complex ethical issues, navigate through uncertainty and reach the pinnacle of what’s possible.

We work with multinational and listed companies, governments and the military, start-ups and not-for-profits, to build robust cultures, unite teams with a common purpose, align policies and systems with behaviour, and unlock innovation and hidden value.

During 30 years of working with clients in Australia and overseas, it has become clear that a strong ethical foundation is critical to establishing and maintaining a high-performance culture that is responsive to change and opportunity. We help to identify the factors preventing alignment between a company’s ideal and what happens in practice, offering meaningful and actionable recommendations for change.

Complementing our consulting work, our award-winning education programs include workshops, presentations, webinars and learning programs, where we explore everything from the foundations of business ethics through to bias, conflict of interest, ethical literacy, leadership and more.

Not sure where to begin?

Let us take you through our process.

In providing advice, education, leadership and counselling services, our solutions are tailored to the needs of each organisation we support. Our work, grounded in years of practice, ranges from end-to-end projects to one-off interventions.

  • 01

We assess your Current State

We begin by asking questions about your organisational culture: what issues are you dealing with and what, if anything, is your burning platform? Using our Everest process, we assess the degree to which the culture, systems and processes of your organisation are aligned with your Ethical Framework.

  • 02

We identify your unique challenges & opportunities

Through Ethical Framework Design, we work with clients to elicit or refine their purpose, values and principles. Ethical Frameworks set the basis from which people across an organisation make decisions and from which governance, business systems and culture develop.

  • 03

We design & implement programs to address them

We deliver educational services in culture management, leadership, and decision making to build capability and drive the desired culture from the board to the front line. We help to unpick the systems and policies that drive bad decisions; we innovate with clients to create stronger, ethically aligned systems.

  • 04

We help you imagine & live into your own Future State

We work with clients to develop a desired future state, and map a path to get there. We provide specialist support for ethical decisions. We facilitate a process to navigate complex ethical issues, using our good decisions pathway and your ethical framework, helping clients arrive at the best decision.

Let’s discuss what’s possible together.
